ii) MCA approved Yachtmaster Unlimited Certificate of Competency 5 days
iii) Advanced Fire Fighting in terms of STCW Code A-V1/3 3 days
iv) Medical First Aid in terms of STCW Code A-V1/4-1 3 days

PYT is either accredited or holds accreditation through its affiliates for the above courses. A two week period is all that is required for these shore based modules. Once a candidate holds the necessary documentation, application can be made to the MCA for the issue of the Chief Mate's certificate.
