is no doubt that aspiring Yachtmasters and Captains must prepare themselves as
much as possible before being able to truly take full responsibility for themselves,
their vessels and their crews. When it comes down to facing the elements at sea,
textbook knowledge is no substitute for practical experience. |  |
Our Master of Yachts Limited Certification Program is
an extensive and intensive course designed to provide
the highest standards of maritime education for both the
professional and recreational yachtsman and woman. |
 | Please
note that it is designed for experienced crew with sufficient on the water experience
and is not for beginners, therefore command endorsed proof of the required seatime
is required upon booking. This is to include on the water experience of 3000 nm,
50 days logged on board, 48 night watch hours and having done STCW'95 Basic Safety
Training. |

you don't hold the STCW'95 Basic Safety Training you can do
it here the week before - how's that for time efficient!)
Master of Yachts Certification is of vital importance because
it is an established and globally recognized measure of competency
for the commanding of power and sail vessels. This certification
not only makes yachting a pleasure, as it should be, but also
a safer pursuit for all those who wish to participate now
and in the future.
The
final exam will be conducted by an Independent Master of Yachts
examiner and takes the form of an extensive oral and practical
test on a yacht.
